'Trionda', the official match ball for 2026 FIFA World Cup, to include a 500Hz motion sensor chip; here’s why

Besides the motion sensor chip, which had also been used for the 2022 edition of the FIFA World Cup in Qatar, the 'Trionda' ball will also feature three colours as well as iconography for each of the three host nations – USA, Mexico and Canada.
